Smart copy of this attractive title on the first Arabian horses bred in America. Ulysses S. Grant was gifted Leopard, a pure Arabian, and Linden Tree, a Barb-Arabian by Sultan Abdul Hamid II during his stop in Istanbul during his world tour of 1878. They were bred with descendants of Henry Clay to produce what Randolph Huntington would dub Clay-Arabs.
