This series of lithographs depict boats in and out the water and charming scenes of everyday activities of seafarers and fishermen.
First edition, series 1, issues 1-6; oblong 4to (21 x 30.5 cm); 36 lithographs in colour by Charles Mozin, six in each part, margins slightly browned, very minor foxing; original printed green wrappers with thread ties, some wear, small tear to part VI, in a green cloth clamshell box, spine with gilt title, an a very good set.
