First Baedeker on Russia. This rare volume covers mainly West and Central Russia with chapters on Warsaw and Finland. Detailed chapters on Riga, St Petersburg and Moscow. The German edition was the first volume published on Russia by Baedeker. Endpapers dated March 1883. Very scarce.

First edition. lii, 442pp, 7 maps, 13 plans, inner hinges slightly cracked; publisher's red cloth gilt, slightly faded; a very good copy.
