The illustrator Antonio Chamán, born in Cádiz, developed part of his career as an illustrator in Málaga, where he worked on lithographs reflecting popular types and views of the capital. He drew this series "Andalusian Customs" for the publisher Carlos Santigosa between 1852 and 1854.
