Edition limited to 1800 numbered copies. Peter Porcupine was a pseudonym used by Cobbett for his political writings and pamphlets. The frontispiece, after the cartoon by Gillray, was coloured through stencils by the Curwen Press.

Limited edition, number 578 of 1800 copies on Arches; 8vo; coloured frontispiece, light foxing to prelims and edges; black cloth-backed marbled boards, gilt lettering to spine, light rubbing to extremities, edges uncut and unopened, endpapers browned, overall a very good copy.
