This artists' publication formed part of the 9+9 exhibition at the International Centre of Graphic Arts (MGLC), Ljubljana in November 2010. It is an appropriation of Sanja Ivekovic's 1976 artists' book Tragedija Jedne Venere / Tragedy of a Venus, in which Ivekovic juxtaposed pictures of herself with images of Marilyn Monroe sourced from a special issue of the magazine Duga, published in November 1975 under the title Tragedy of a Venus. In the present work, Whore, Tanja Lazetic has scanned selected spreads from Ivekovic's book onto which the word 'whore' has been stamped in red.
