As well as covering the history of the campaigns of the regiment it includes details about the specific engagements and actions reported by the regiment during their engagements. The Appendices include lists of the Commanders and Subadar-Majors, and lists of the officers and casualties during WWI.

Scarce, with only one copy appearing at auction since 2006.

First edition; 4to (25 x 20 cm); frontispiece of regimental colours, 7 maps, a little foxed; publisher's cloth, gilt emblem to upper board, gilt lettering to spine, cloth a little mottled, a couple small worm holes to lower joint, a very good copy; viii, 164 pp.
