Two works in one vol.; later edition of first work, first edition of second work; folio (27.5 x 18.5 cm); first work with woodcut title, woodcut ornaments, initials, head and tailpieces throughout, occasional early marginal annotations in pen including manicules, title of first work with ownership initials in MS, a little browned, light dampstaining to top-corner running through second work, the odd hole with slight loss to text, lacking final blank f. in second work, otherwise both works collate complete despite erratic pagination; early nineteenth-century mottled calf backed marbled paper boards, calf tips, contrasting red morocco lettering-piece to spine, joints sometime repaired in japanese tissue, upper joint split at head of spine, a little rubbed, later endpapers; [8], 222, [2]; [8], 242, 245-260pp.
