These photographs were made in Paris for Harper's Bazaar during the 1950s. They are reproduced at the same scale as the engraver's prints made for Avedon by Andre Gremola, uncropped, on their original mounts, with all of Avedon's notations, providing a remarkable insight into the working methods of one of the most influential fashion photographers in history.
