From the library of Professor Otto Nordenskjöld (1869-1928), the distinguished Swedish Antarctic explorer and scientist. Nordenskjöld was on the Swedish scientific expedition to the Antarctic (1901-1903) and would have had a particular interest in the results of the Discovery expedition. The volume includes an appendix comparing magnetic observations in the Antarctic and the Arctic.
