Endpapers dated "Januar 1936". This copy contains the publisher's errata slip confirming the name change of Saarlouis. From 1936-1945, Saarlouis was named as Saarlautern (-lautern being a common ending of town and village names in Germany) in an attempt by the Nazis to Germanise the town name.
