The Fur, Feather and Fun series were written to present monographs, as complete as could possibly be made, on the various birds, fish and beasts of the British Isles. The series were edited by Alfred Edward Thomas Watson, who wrote articles for the Encyclopaedia Britannica.

The Partridge: 3rd edition; 8vo (197 x 135mm); 11 plates, spotting mostly to prelims;
The Rabbit: 1st edition; 8vo (197 x 135mm); 10 plates, offsetting to frontispiece and title-page from tissue guard, usual age-toning;
Uniformly bound, in original pictorial oatmeal cloth, with red lettering to front boards and gilt titles to spine, boards are remarkably clean and well preserved, very little fading to spines, binding is firm, overall very good condition.
