Hannah Wilke (1940-1993) was an American artist who worked in various mediums, including photography, video, sculpture, and performance, to challenge and examine prevailing notions of femininity, feminism, and sexuality. She was one of the first artists to use vaginal imagery in her work to engage with feminist issues directly. This book was published to accompany an exhibition of the same name at Gallery 210, University of Missouri–St Louis (3-28 April 1989).
