Seferis' fifth collection of poetry, published the same year as Tetradio gymnasmatōn [Book of Exercises], it is the first of 3 'Logbooks', the final two of which would be published in 1944 and 1955 respectively.

First edition, copy 131 of 300 copies on 'Ellēniko' paper, from a total edition of 317; 8vo (24 x 16 cm); discreet ownership signature to title, else unmarked internally; original wrappers printed in red and black, faint stain to upper wrapper extending onto backstrip, spine slightly defective at head, else very good.
