This privately issued version was put out by the lawyer/collector John Quinn ahead of all other US issues. Gallup described the binding as blue cloth, but of the tiny handful of copies we have seen all were bound thus.

First US edition, printed for private circulation only, one of only 60 copies, this copy unnumbered; 8vo; frontis portrait of the author after a drawing by Gaudier Bzeska, four line ownership inscription to front free endpaper (Harvard, Cambridge Mass.); original buff boards, titles to upper board and spine in blue, small stain to fore edge, boards generally a little marked, spine rubbed with loss at the head costing the title; good plus.
