The complete book with two signed aquatints, one etching and embossed wrappers by Chillida.

Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002) was one of the most celebrated sculptors of the twentieth-century, rising to prominence after winning an international award at the Venice Biennale of 1958. His works which can be seen across public spaces in Europe and the USA display a craftsman's respect for his materials. Hailing from a long line of metalworkers and stone-carvers he retained a feel for the medium, whether it was small segments of iron or monumental pieces of granite.

Limited edition, one of 90 numbered copies from a total edition of 150, 4to (32.6 x 25.1 cm); translated into French by Marguerite Duras, signed by the author, illustrated with 3 engravings of which two are signed in pencil; loose in in the publisher's wrappers with the upper wrapper embossed with a design by Chillida; original grey cloth chemise and black slipcase, a fine copy.
