Well-preserved example of Ortelius' map of Russia. Taken from the fifth, final, and most complete French edition of Theatre de l'Univers. Enriched with decorative cartouches and illustrations.


Abraham Ortelius (1527-1598) was a cartographer and publisher, he was born and died in Antwerp.
