Henry Cholmondeley-Pennell (1837–1915), English poet and writer on angling. His poetical works are well known, among them being: Puck on Pegasus and The Muses of Mayfair. On angling and ichthyology he wrote: The Angler-Naturalist, The Modern Practical Angler and these two volumes for the Badminton Library; as well as articles in the Fisherman's Magazine and Review, of which he was editor, 1864–65.
