From the library of Tsar Alexander II's sixth son, Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich.12 vols (24.5 x 16 cm); frontispiece portrait, preliminary leaves blind stamped 'E. de Savitsch', minor foxing throughout but generally fresh, marbled endpapers, shelf label with Pavel Alexandrovich's monogram to upper pastedown of each volume, lacking the last two volumes (Brothers Karamazov); contemporary half maroon morocco marbled boards, title in gilt and Imperial monogram of Grand Duke Pavel Alexandrovich to foot of each spine, some wear but a good set.
